We have released a minor update to SDScribe™. It is free for licensed SDScribe™ 2023 users, and you can either update the program when reminded (on program startup), or from our existing customers page.
Among the changes are:
In SDS Section 3, the program offers an option to insert the CAS number for each ingredient/component into a separate (middle) column, between the chemical name and the concentration.
Three slightly different variants for physical-chemical property order are now available in SDS Section 9: “Canada 2022”, “US-OSHA 2012”, and “UN standard”. These options appear in a drop-down menu on the SDS generations dialog. The “Canada 2022” and “UN standard” options are similar, except that the Canadian option includes slightly different property names. The Canadian option places older (no longer required) properties after all the presently-required properties, whereas the UN option intermingles the two.
There is added flexibility in the appearance of the “Particle characteristics” information in SDS Section 9. For the “Canada 2022” and “UN standard” options, particle characteristics can appear as another indented element (like other properties), provided that the field does not contain any internal tab or return characters.
