We’ve released a minor update to the program. It is free for licensed SDScribe™ 2024 users, and you can either update the program when reminded (on program startup), or from our existing customers page. A full list of the changes appears in the “About SDScribe™” box (Help menu).
Among the revisions:
A verification that other imports are not underway when the user wants to begin an import.
A “Contains an ingredient…” option under the Search button (magnifying glass icon), in the SDS browse list. Note that you could already perform this search from the Quick search box, by typing “Contains <ingredient name or number>” — for example, “Contains sulfur”.
Fixed an issue with the “zoom” buttons for displaying field contents on the “Exposure-protection 2” tab (they were referencing the firefighting fields rather than the exposure fields).
Made slight modifications to the WGK calculation on the “Ecological” tab of the Substance entry forms. If you were having problems with style tags appearing in the calculation explanation dialog, and are working with an earlier version of the program, you may want to try this version. If you are still having this issue, please email our support staff.
